Scope
This policy applies to the Walhalla Guide website at walhallaguide.com, the public online guide, the iPhone app, support communication, and related public media delivery.
Data Stored by the App
The iPhone app stores basic settings on your device, including selected language, offline media settings, and downloaded public images or audio if you choose to save them. These settings remain local to your device unless you delete them or remove the app.
Guide Content and Remote Media
Guide text is bundled with the app. Public images and audio may be loaded from the public media domain media.walhallaguide.com. When your device requests those files, the hosting provider may process normal technical request data such as IP address, URL requested, browser or app networking metadata, timestamp, and security signals.
Website Hosting
The website and online guide are hosted through Cloudflare Pages and related Cloudflare services. Cloudflare may process technical request data to deliver pages, cache assets, block abuse, and protect the site.
Location and Transit Planning
Location permission in the app is optional. It is used only when you ask the embedded transit planner to start a route from your current position. The transit service handles the route request under its own terms and privacy policy.
Support Emails
If you contact us for support, we process the email address, message content, and any details you include, such as device model, iOS version, screenshots, or error descriptions. We use this information to respond to the request and maintain the app.
